App Privacy Policy

We care about transparency regarding your data. Below you will find what the Basket Manager mobile app (iOS and Android) collects, why, and what rights you have. This policy covers the app itself; use of the basketmanager.pl website is governed by the website privacy policy.

2. What data we collect
Basket Manager is a single-player management game that runs offline. Your game saves are stored locally on your device - we have no access to them. The app requires no account and contains no ads.
To improve the game, we collect usage statistics that do not directly identify you:

We do not collect personal data such as: name, e-mail address, location, contacts or advertising identifiers. Player and club names in the game are fictional.
If you use the in-app bug-report option, your own mail client sends us a message containing the app version and platform name plus whatever text you write. The app itself does not transmit this data.

Data is not used for advertising or profiling, and is not sold.
4. Data recipients

5. Transfers outside the EEA
Usage statistics are processed and stored in the European Union (the EU region of PostHog). Should any transfer outside the European Economic Area (EEA) occur as part of the provider's service, it is based on appropriate safeguards, e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC).
6. Data retention
Usage statistics that do not directly identify you - kept for as long as necessary to analyse the game's development, no longer than 12 months, after which they are deleted or permanently anonymised.
Game saves - remain solely on your device and are not stored by us.
7. Your rights
With respect to data processed by the controller, you have:
- the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR);
- the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR);
- the right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR);
- the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR);
- the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR).
In addition, you can fully disable the collection of statistics at any time within the app (see section 8).
8. Your control - disabling statistics
Collection of usage statistics is on by default, but you can turn it off at any time:
- on first launch of the app (welcome dialog), or
- at any time: Settings → Privacy → Anonymous statistics.
Once disabled, the app sends no statistics.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland, if you believe that the processing of your data infringes the GDPR.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated. The current version is always available at this address, and the date of the last change is given at the top of this page.
